El Baile de la muerte Part 4, also called Chapter 47, is the forty-eighth chapter of the Black Lagoon manga. It was originally released in October 2006.

Plot[]

Driving on a road, Benny tells Dutch that his hunch was right, telling the latter about a news article concerning a bomb at a political rally for the MVR in Venezuela. The two then discuss Diego Lovelace's casualty at the rally and how Diego had supported the leftist party despite being the head of a capitalist landowner family. Benny then mentions that the Lovelace Family's wealth had been declining throughout the years, adding that FARC was a suspect behind the bombing but no one knows for sure except that Roberta's motivation is certainly to get revenge for her master's murder. Behind them, several cars speed past their vehicle to their surprise, with Dutch pulling out his revolver and commenting that it will be hard to get a drink at the Yellow Flag.

At the bar, while Fabiola continues to fight the Colombians, Bao quickly hangs up the phone, warning Gustavo that he has already caused enough trouble. As the bartender and Gustavo fight for control of the bar phone, Revy kicks her legs in laughter at the one-sided bar fight, although Rock himself is displeased and continues to crouch. Yelling into the phone, Gustavo tells his men to tear apart the bar with their powerful machine gun, and the phone breaks. Worried that Gustavo got killed, Chico yells at Marrero to begin firing into the bar. Prepping the heavy machine gun, Marrero blasts the bar apart, much to everyone's surprise on the inside. As the gunfire ceases, Fabiola continues taking cover and is unharmed, but a few Colombians inside get injured from friendly fire.

Pulling out a grenade launcher, Fabiola shows mercy to the Colombians by telling them to take their wounded and flee if they want to keep their lives. While a few leave, Borge and his men outside attempt to attack, resulting in Fabiola responding with a shot at the roof that blows a hole into the bar and another shot at the car outside, violently flipping it onto Marrero's car, killing him. Scared at her firepower, Chico advises the remaining Colombians to retreat and regroup, and Bao angrily remarks that Fabiola is turning his bar into an open-air café. As he attempts to flee with his driver, Chico calls Abrego and frantically claims that Gustavo was killed. Before he can clarify that a young maid, not Roberta, was responsible for the firefight, Fabiola fires a grenade at his vehicle, killing him. Standing atop a pile of debris, a frustrated Fabiola repeats to herself that Roanapur is truly a horrid place.
