Summary[]

Surrounded by the Japanese police officers, the unfazed Balalaika tells Rock to inform Yukio Washimine that Hotel Moscow will cease their attacks on the Washimine Group on the condition that Yukio leaves town by sundown and does not show her face to any of them. Suddenly, Revy pulls up on her motorcycle and calls for Rock, who instinctively runs through the police barricade and holds onto Revy as she speeds away. Before the police can try and stop them, Balalaika yells at them to halt since their business is with her, frustrating Yasuzawa and Ishiguro. Parking near them, a Russian Federation embassy car arrives and the driver informs "Miss Vladilena" that the ambassador is waiting for her. Yasuzawa tells them to stop but Ishiguro points out the car's diplomat license plate. Getting into the car, Balalaika mockingly tells the officers in Russian that they can contact First Secretery V.N. Valizhinov of the Russian Federation embassy if they need anything else from her.

As the car speeds off, the international specialist Kouno arrives and is disappointed to see the car flee. He asks Yasuzawa and Ishiguro why they did not arrest her if they heard gunshots, but Ishiguro clarifies that the gunshots were inside and thus they had to voluntarily gain her custody. Kouno then informs them that the Russian woman was Balalaika, a high-ranking officer in Hotel Moscow, the Russian Mafia based in Moscow that also has strongholds in New York and Chechnya. Speeding up the motorcycle, Revy asks Rock to give her directions for the Marya Zaleska, but he tells her that he still needs to inform Yukio about Balalaika's message before the 30-minute police blockade begins to prevent them from leaving the area.

Kneeling down, Ginji Matsuzaki listens to Yukio tell him that they will put an end to the fighting, regretting that she will not be able to attend any more takamachi festivals. The saddened Ginji himself is hesitant, pleading with Yukio to stay behind and let him and the other men deal with the affair. Turning around and smiling, Yukio tells him that they will always be together. At a religious shrine, Revy cleans her guns as she and Rock wait for the two to arrive, with Rock adding that Yukio specifically chose the location over the phone. Dressed in kimonos, Yukio and Ginji walk up the stairs and see the two pirates sitting at the building entrance. Standing up, Rock reminds Yukio about Hotel Moscow's ceasefire, but Yukio responds that a promise from Balalaika is an empty one. Elaborating that she knows her group cannot possibly recover, Yukio states that the Washimine emblem is still alive and that Tsugio Bando's killer, Balalaika, is still alive, saying that Balalaika's death will be the only thing to bring her closure.

Frustrated at her attachment to honor and duty, Rock tells her that her response is solely rhetoric, but Yukio concludes that she has already become a gokudo (one who walks an extreme path; a gangster). Interrupting them, Revy tells Rock that Yukio has clearly made up her mind and is of the walking dead like them. As Revy and Ginji stand across from each other, Yukio requests Rock to get out of her way or they will kill him, but Rock adamantly refuses her death wish. Upon hearing Rock's answer, Yukio politely tells Ginji to commence his battle against Revy. As they prepare their weapons, both killers glare at each other.
