Summary[]

Quickly stopping in front of a Washimine Group office, a couple of Hotel Moscow members drop off a suitcase with Tsugio Bando's corpse inside. That day, Yoshida informs Ginji Matsuzaki at his place about Bando's murder and the corpse being dropped off, asking Ginji about the funeral arrangements. As Yukio Washimine sits nearby, Ginji says they will have to wait for a proper funeral and asks if anything else of note happened, and Yoshida specified that there was a note written in Russian stuffed inside Bando's mouth which read "Yellow is the color of cowards." Placing his hand on Yoshida's shoulder, Ginji consoles him by saying that Bando was no coward, with Yoshida crying in agreement. As the latter man asks what they will do, Yukio solemnly looks outside the snowy window.

In his hotel room, Rock drinks a glass of alcohol and rubs his forehead while sitting in a chair, remembering that Bando had confronted Balalaika in a parking garage. When Balalaika cracked a joke, Bando asked if she truly wanted to work with his group, but Balalaika says that he would have to answer that instead. Glaring at her, he pulled out his sword and charged at her, but she dodged his swing and elbowed him in the face. Picking him up from the ground and wrapping her arm around his neck, Balalaika joked in Russian that it had been a while since she fought someone in hand-to-hand combat. Looking at Rock, Balalaika furiously ordered him to translate her words. Maintaining her grip on Bando's neck, Balalaika told him that the truth was that she had no need to work with others and only lived to bring destruction and to see how long she could dance on the bottom of hell's cauldron. Bidding him farewell, Balalaika cracks his windpipe, killing Bando.

Waking up Rock, Revy asks him what happened since he was in a cold sweat and groaning a lot. He guesses that he had a nightmare, making Revy warn him not to drink so much. Pouring herself a drink, she then informs him that Balalaika wants them to tag along when her reinforcements of the Vysotniki arrive, saying that the commandos will be split between the Marya Zaleska and the Russian embassy since Laptev is messing things up on his end. Crossing her legs, Revy states that Hotel Moscow will create a storm of bullets and blood. At her place, Yukio finds Ginji thinking to himself and quietly states that she has been pondering upon the Kosa Council's previous request for a direct descendant. Sitting back-to-back, Ginji tries to dissuade her since the Kosa Council's arrangement is a farce, but Yukio comments that perhaps it is the only way for their group's success. She tells Ginji that she does not want to abandon all the men who have fought for their family, to which he responds that he only wanted her to enjoy the happiness that civilians do.

As Ginji is angered about the Kosa Council punks, Yukio looks up into the snowy sky and turns around, stating that for the first time she finds the snow beautiful. To Ginji's shock, she asks him if he will protect her. Bowing down, Ginji answers that as her humble servant and underboss of the Washimine Group, he swears to protect her with every fiber of his being in this life and the next.
